# Wix

> Publish blog articles to your Wix site

Aranx publishes articles to Wix Blog through the Aranx app for Wix. You install the app on your site in one click. There is no API key to create or paste.

## Before you start

* Your site has the Wix Blog app.
* You can install apps on the site: you are its owner or a collaborator with that permission.
* At least one site member exists to be the post author. Log in to your published site once if the member list is empty.

## Setup

**1. Connect with Wix**

In Aranx, open **Blog Connection** and click **Connect with Wix** on the Wix
card. Aranx sends you to Wix.

**2. Install the app**

Sign in to Wix if asked, pick the site you publish to, and approve the
permissions. The app asks for Wix Blog, Media Manager, Members, Rich
Content, and Site URLs. Wix then sends you back to Aranx.

**3. Check the author**

Aranx checks that the site has Wix Blog and picks the site member whose
email matches yours as the post author. You can choose another member on the
Wix Connection page.

The app has access to the one site you picked. Aranx never sees your Wix password.

## What Aranx sends

* The article body, converted to Wix rich content. Headings, lists, links, tables, and quotes carry over. CSS classes, such as the ones on the summary and table of contents, do not.
* Article images, imported to your Wix Media Manager. Aranx imports each image once and reuses it on later updates.
* The featured image as the post cover image, used in your blog feed and link previews.
* The slug, the excerpt, and the meta description.

Publish, draft, schedule, unschedule, unpublish, and delete all work from Aranx. Deleting an article moves the Wix post to the Wix Blog trash, where you can restore it.

## Disconnect

To stop publishing, remove the Aranx app from your site in the Wix dashboard under **Apps > Manage Apps**. Aranx detects the removal, marks the connection as disconnected, and emails you.

If you remove the app by mistake, or Wix Blog is removed from the site, open **Blog Connection** in Aranx and click **Reconnect with Wix**.

## Limits

* Categories and tags are not sent yet.
* One Wix site connects to one Aranx website. To move a site to another Aranx website, disconnect it first.
